Three things only RoarWriter does.
Why a director writes the next script here, and not in a word processor.
The keys of Final Draft.
Enter goes on to what usually comes next: after a scene heading the action, after a name the dialogue, after the dialogue the next name. Tab turns a line into another kind, Cmd or Ctrl and a number picks one. The format takes care of itself while you write.
Greek, as well as English.
Type ΕΣΩΤ. or ΕΞΩΤ. and the line becomes a scene heading, as INT. and EXT. do. Names, places and the time of day are suggested as you type, ΜΕΡΑ and ΝΥΧΤΑ included, and the PDF prints Greek in the same Courier as the rest.

An AI that waits to be asked.
On the scene you are in: suggest dialogue, rewrite the scene, write what comes next, or give notes, in the language of the script and the voice of its characters. The answer is shown first, as script; nothing on the page changes until you press Insert or Replace.

02 · The page
A script that reads like a script.
The page as producers, actors and the crew expect it, and the files the rest of the industry uses.
Ready to send.
Courier 12 with the standard margins, the title page as Final Draft lays it out, page numbers from page two, A4 or US Letter. The pages are laid out for real, and you see them as you write: a scene heading never ends a page and a name stays with its lines.
Final Draft, Fade In and Fountain.
Open a script from Final Draft, Fade In or Fountain, save it back as any of them. Paste a screenplay as plain text and it turns into elements.
Scenes and characters.
Every scene numbered, the one you are in lit; one click takes you there. Every character with how many times they speak and in how many scenes.
03 · Everything
And all a draft needs.
What came in the latest versions, and the rest, briefly.
Feature film, TV drama, TV half-hour, multi-camera sitcom, stage play, musical, audio drama, AV two-column and comic. Each with its own page, kinds of line, keys and PDF.
INT. or ΕΣΩΤ. at the start of a line makes a scene heading; CUT TO: makes a transition. A parenthetical opens its own brackets.
Select a word, right-click it and tag it: cast, props, locations, wardrobe and eight more, lit in colour wherever it appears. By scene or by element, and as a spreadsheet.
Share a script by email, to edit or only to read. What the others write comes in within seconds, and changes to different lines never overwrite each other.
Every change keeps itself. ⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z go back and forth through what you did.
Title and episode, credit and author, copyright, draft and contact, typed where they go, as Final Draft lays them out.
Bring in a .fdx, a .fadein or a .fountain, title page included, go on writing, and save it back as any of them.
− 100% + in the bar, ⌘+ and ⌘−, or a pinch on the trackpad; on a phone, two fingers on the page.
The apps check Greek and English as you type, with suggestions on a right click.
The page in letters to write in, the kinds of line over the keyboard, scenes and the AI over the screen, and an icon on the home screen.
The same app on the web, nothing to install, with your scripts in your account.
Nothing is sent to the AI until you press one of its buttons, and only the scene you are on. It writes in the script’s format.
04 · Yours
Your script, your account.
Kept on your computer the moment you type, and in your account a second later, so it follows you to every device.
Every change is kept here at once: writing never waits for the internet, and works without it.
In your account, your scripts can be opened only by you.
The same account as RoarMe, Roardino and RoarList.
The scene you are on, and only when you press an AI button. It never writes on your page by itself.

06 · Questions
Good to know.
Is RoarWriter free?
Yes. No subscription, no ads.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a RoarMe account: the same one as RoarMe, Roardino and RoarList. It is what keeps your scripts safe and the same on every device.
Can I open my Final Draft or Fade In scripts?
Yes: import the .fdx or the .fadein and go on writing; save it back as either whenever you need it there. Fountain works both ways too.
Does it write Greek scripts properly?
Yes. Scene headings with ΕΣΩΤ. and ΕΞΩΤ., names in capitals, suggestions in Greek, spelling in Greek in the apps, and a PDF in the same format as an English script.
What does the AI see?
Only the scene you are on and a little of what comes before it, and only when you press one of its buttons. Its answer appears beside the page; nothing changes until you press Insert or Replace.
Does it work without internet?
The Mac and Windows apps do: you write as usual and the script is sent to your account when the connection is back. The AI needs a connection.
Does it write stage plays and TV?
Yes. When you start a script you choose its format: feature film, TV drama in acts, TV half-hour, multi-camera sitcom, stage play, musical, audio drama, AV two-column or comic. You can change it later on its title page.
Can two of us write the same script?
Yes. Press Share, type their email (their RoarMe account) and choose Can edit or Can view. Only the owner shares or removes someone; anyone can leave.
A4 or US Letter?
Either, chosen per script on its title page. The margins and the font stay those of the standard screenplay format.
